Masham Sausage Shopare sausage manufacturers and suppliers of speciality sausages and meat products throughout North Yorkshire, UK. Co-Founder Richard Welford has been in the family business all his working life, taking over from his grandfather sixteen years ago. Richard started specialising in sausages nine years ago, entering his first competition six years ago and winning both classes, and shortly afterwards was nominated supplier of the year by Betty's Tea-rooms. Over the last nine years, gaining over 30 awards, television and radio interviews the business has gone from strength to strength.
In recent years the sausage side of the butchers shop has become a predominant part of the business and is now located in purpose built premise's to meet the demand of the postal ordering and Internet site.
Richard's long term friend Paul Dennis has joined him in the business and together they have set up a sister company to Beavers Butchers trading as the Masham Sausage shop. Paul has a wealth of experience in sales and marketing and together with Richard's experience in production hope to expand the business to meet the demand of their speciality range.
